For 20 years, the Dr. Robert Dyckerhoff Foundation has been offering disadvantaged young people from ethnic minorities in northern Thailand the chance to escape poverty through education.
The foundation supports underprivileged children and young people from ethnic minorities aged 14-21 who live in two foundation-owned dormitories in Mae Sariang (Northern Thailand). The children come from impoverished villages on the fringes of civilization in the mountains of Mae Hong Son province. If at all possible, the children have to walk for many hours to reach schools in the area.
